Longtime colleague and award-winning designer, Cassandra Carpenter has answered the call of UTB on many wild occasions, and indeed constructed large-scale "objects" of fabric for our productions. There is the gigantic Thai silk blue sea which transformed the production of Pericles, then there is the swimming pool with swimmable lap-lanes for Three Blooms, and also the various fascinating ground clothes which morph before the audiences eyes in The Inkwell Communiques.

Ms. Carpenter is a Costume Designer at many of the Bay Area's top theatres, and her design studio - CMC & design - is located in San Francisco, California. We find her to be a real treasure, an honest and exacting artist. Brava.
